They still are pulling up stuff from the Wydah. The new museum (not the old one in P Town) is fantastic. Tons of artifacts on display (from pirate weapons to dinner implements to actual treasure) and you can even see artifacts trapped inside concretions that they are slowly trying to free.

I enjoy the fact they didn’t even mention the major consumer of water: agriculture. Especially Alfafa

A British commando that was captured and brought before Rommel told that Rommel had mused it was too bad they couldn’t ally against the Soviets vs fighting each other.
If you look at post WW2 Europe and even Operation Paperclip, the US and Uk knew quite well the USSR was the next enemy. There was even discussed plans to immediately launch an attack on Soviet held territory, although that never moved anywhere considering how taxing the conflict with the Axis had been.

Reply to How do I prevent condensation on the windows from causing water to accumulate on the windowsill? by teddythepooh99
I noticed window AC units, so I presume your apartment doesn’t have central hvac. Is the heating electric or steam radiator?
Is the heating unit also beneath the window?

Yup, that is the one.
I had to look up the name since it has been forever. Comic was called 'Last Blood'

Very Douglas Adams-esque!

There was a web comic from years back that used this idea. Basically the last humans are stuck in a school and the vampires protect them against the zombies so the vampires have food
If I recall, the artist sort of lost interest or couldn’t come up with a decent continuation of the comic after the initial arc reached its conclusion

I was going to post the same thing. Every time there is an article along the lines of "omg this amazing cosmic event will be visible in X area!", it is always cloudy or overcast and you can't see a damned thing
