Reply to Speeding Ticket on Turnpike issued to car owner. What can be done about it? by Jerseysure35
Six of one, half a dozen of another. Paying an attorney to fight this may be more costly than accepting the zero point violation you can bargain down to (but pay a higher fine). If you think there is enough evidence to show you weren’t behind the wheel, go for it. Just remember without additional evidence it is officer said/driver said.
Know when to hold them, know when to fold them.

Fred and Murray's kosher deli in Freehold makes sloppy joes like this but they are on rye, thicker and definitely not as neat. No ham and cheese of course.

95 all the way, but we also live about 15 miles from exit 8 of the NJT. Left 5am on a Sat and with a stay over in GA we were at Disney by late Sun morning. Helped to be past the Beltway by 9ish and we only stopped for bathroom breaks.

I haven't had a car roll back to zero at 99,999 miles since around 1990. I only did it once but it was fun driving with friends waiting for it to flip. Now it is 999,999 miles.

Reply to New Jersey already bans smoking in parks and on beaches, but it could soon extend that prohibition to a slew of other public spaces: Assemblywoman Murphy reintroduced a measure that would expand the smoking ban to boardwalks, race tracks, amusement parks, historic sites, and burial sites by rollotomasi07071
As the years have gone by, and smoking became less frequent in both private and public areas, I’ve discovered my tolerance to second hand smoke has decreased (I grew up with a smoking father). While it doesn’t bother me, unless I am in an outdoor restaurant etc., I do notice the smell. As long as someone is not puffing behind me in a non-smoking area — let them kill themselves.

Classic pre-WW2 office buildings. I worked in 744 Broad St for about a decade. Beautiful lobby and mezzanine. Even better, the NJ Devils main office was in there while the Rock was being planned/built. Got to see the Stanley Cup in the lobby one day.

Reply to Where can I find decently priced farmers markets? by itsjustfarkas
There are quite a few in Monmouth County. Some are year round. There is great seasonal one on Rt 9 North in Manalapan, especially if you like fresh corn.
