Took me a year to get my full rebate - and I had to appeal the initial decision that said I was not entitled to the full rebate (due to my pre-installation heating bills not being high enough to justify the full rebate - who knew?). I sent photos of my electric baseboards in each room and a letter from my installer. The full rebate check just showed up one day after I gave up on it. It was not a great experience….

If you want to upgrade or change something just do it right the first time - get what you really want and don’t skimp. You will just end up spending more in the long run if you don’t.
