imo govt jobs should be among the highest paying, i think this would lower costs overall
in MA the Office of the Secretary of Health and Human Services spent 18B, if you can pay someone 1M a year to lower those expenditures by 1% you just paid that person's salary for 180 years

This was shared in Jeffries Point neighborhood fb group by a business owner in the shipyard and others confirmed in comments doesn't seem to be a rumor but as an area resident I've seen nothing from police or mass port about this closure. Anyone got the deets (or a huge Irish flag to lend me?)

The original big dig. There was a craze in the 1600s where you could dig a hole to release spirits and the deeper you went the more spirits you released. Boston has done pretty well since so I don't blame us for not filling it back in.
