Conversations usually go like this:
Friends: Oh this is just insane, they are taking our limited resources, costing tax payers a mint, send them all back! What else can we do?
Me: Well what happens if they are, tall blonds (F) from Norway, they don't speak English, limited skills, and zero cash, how does that change your view of the situation?
BRING THEM IN, BY THE PLANELOADS if we can!
One of those illuminating conversations. :-)

That's how you develop immunity to these diseases, especially in a very densely populated area. No exposure, no immunity. Or else cities, with millions of residents coughing, sneezing, packed in like sardines, in un/ventilated spaces are not for certain people. You are here, you take your chances. You will be 100% exposed to an Omicron variant, 100% as long as you reside in NYC. Just have to accept that and deal with it.
For everyone I know, Omicron, a light flu for 1-3 days if that. I have zero Covid worries. I'm not ready to live in a bubble. I'll take my chances. My immune system rocks. I'm in the middle of almost 8 million people, it is what it is.
China is going to crumble. What living in a bubble will do to your immune system.

I've been wondering about this. My Citizen App scans all the police and fire traffic. The number of times in 24 hours the police are actually called is really a handful of times.
Like almost never. Try it yourself. One homeless guy the other day, He was really doing nothing. 2 ambulances, at least 3 NYPD patrol cars, on the scene. It was the UES, but seemed way overboard.
And then everyone just walked away. He just stayed there, seemed amazed by all the attention. Guess it's what we're paying for.

The laws are racist, since Day 1. We all know that.
We ALL know that.
It’s called “Moral Courage” to change those laws.
There are 100,000 total marijuana smokers in the US, and most are Negroes, Hispanics, Filipinos and entertainers. Their Satanic music, jazz and swing, result from marijuana usage. This marijuana causes white women to seek sexual relations with Negroes, entertainers and any others.”

Yes, this is how $$$ is re/distributed in NYC. Just how it works. It's intentional.
We have billionaires, and everyone else. The billionaires don't want guillotines on Park Avenue, so they "re/distribute" wealth to keep the Proletariat happy. More workers, more paychecks, more fed "middle class" people. For another 2 years.
In most communities, the super wealthy are behind iron gates, security forces and brick walls. It's not like that in NYC, so things kind of "work themselves out."
It's this been this way for decades. Seems to work. No one is complaining much. It's a "jobs" program.

It's going to be pretty awesome when the Cannabis lounges open. Oh wait, they are? Like Paris in the '20s I'm hoping.
We'll talk about Wittgenstein, Art, Politics, Love, Romance, and the human condition. Bring about World Peace, and explore the hidden corners of human consciousness! VS throwing someone through the window because they scuffed your sneaker. People go crazy (in the USA) with ethanol. Just what what we do.
I have high hopes! :-)

I just go up the block. The guy has AWESOME Kali pre-rolls. $10. The state blew it. A smoke shop on every corner is a bit crazy.
But as above, NYS is very conservative. Believe it or not. They just totally screwed this up. They just don’t want legal cannabis. It’s pretty obvious.
Suffolk County just banned all sales. That’s Zeldin land. So the local Native Americans will make a killing. Much Awesomeness!

Covid mandates. 99%. They made people mad. She never lost a day of pay.
HARDCORE Democrat friends, for life, were stunned with her power trip. Over 900,000 jobs lost in NYC, no one cared. No one. Once you have power, you just can’t give it up. Republican or Democrat.
We think that Zeldin is a wacko, but our non-elected Governor (we tried to talk to her one on one about technology startups in NYC, she was so clueless, could not believe it, stunned by her lack of interest), cannot have that much control over 30,000,000 people, that’s insanity.
It was the restrictions. Think her advisers came in and told her: you have to cool it, or you will lose the election.
One more round of mandates, it would have been over for her. Lost the votes for sure. Have no doubt about that.

I’ve met her. Has absolutely ZERO interest in technology. Nada, zero, none. We tried to explain Alexa to her, she was lost.
-
Does she use an iPhone?
-
Why did the NYS Pension fund (her retirement plan) go on a mad crazy MRNA sock buying spree literally hours before she began announcing vaccine mandates?
-
She has announced that a upstate rural community is going to be home to tens of thousands of workers, tens of billions of $$$s invested. The population is 3 cows, or close too. No one has any specifics. It’s a chip manufacturer. As in computers.
Just 3 off the top of my head.
Thanks
