The word from backstage was that Lionel (whom I love) was a bit snooty and wouldn't talk to the opening act! The rest of the band were cool though.

His name is Randy Scott. He had several bands but my favorite was Platinum Plus. Full 70's funky shiny costumes and giant afro wigs. 8-10-ish players with full horn section and dad on drums and vocals. He was a boss.
