What? No it’s not. Pointing out blatant whataboutism is always independently valid.
Why would you even write what you wrote? Is it a required riposte that’s included in your briefing file, or training?

Flan-t5 is good and flan-t5-xl runs well on 3060 in 8 bit mode. It’s not meant to be a chatbot however so that’s why it does not stir up so much excitement. T5 is best used for tasks and training it to handle specific domains. This makes it far more interesting to me than LLaMa which cannot be trained (yet) by us randoms.

Well crypto was huge for nVidia before ethereum went to PoS. Now it can no longer be mined, hence the glut of 30x0 series cards. I did not know that CG industry was also captive.

Yes I had scientific computing in mind where nVidia still dominates. Not sure about the size of this market or the crypto mining markets compared to gamer market.

How insane. It’s also insane that nVidia likely got the pricing right and these cards will sell out.

I blame the Dutch. Northern Dutch language sounds like drunken English, or English as I would hear it if I were incoherently drunk.
How the Dutch spread into England and morphed into English? Not sure... there are surely actual answers somewhere in this thread.
