The Salk family used to live on the property my family lives on now. Years ago one of his family members came to visit the old barn that's still there. The farm house was torn down long ago, and more recently the "mouse house" where Salk kept a lot of his research mice was torn down as well, it used to be across the street from my mom's property. We have a panel from an old truck from the Salk's with "Shalom Research Farms" still visible on it.

Here are two good sources for litter box husbandry. A lot of it can take trial and error. Trying different locations, different boxes, different litter until you find what works best.

Make sure you are scooping once or twice a day and regularly changing out the litter and scrubbing the box when it gets smelly.

Littee boxes should not be placed anywhere near their food or water bowls.

That was a couple years ago. Lab work very well could have changed by now. Most vets recommend yearly lab work, and they may suggest a urine test.

Moving her to a different home is just going to stress her out even more. Same with moving her back again.

I think your best option here would be taking her to the vet for a complete workup, which she should be getting along with yearly vaccines. If you want, I can give you some litter box husbandry tips to make sure you're giving her all the right options to use the litter box.

You should see a vet first. Cats don't need potty training. The fact that she's not going in the box is indicative of something else, possibly a medical issue.

Are you sure it's a girl? Is she spayed?

Are you looking for someone to adopt her permanently or?

If you're up for a bit of a day trip the Grandview Cemetery in Johnstown is very interesting. It's huge, and has tons of very old graves and cool monuments. My friend and I spent a whole day walking around trying to find the oldest grave. There's some interesting parts focused around the Johnstown Flood.

Look into plumbing. Plumbers are required to go through schooling if they're working as an apprentice plumber, and 99% of the time your company pays for school.

My bf is in plumbing school right now, in his third year. It's two nights a week for a couple hours. With winter break and summer break.

I also would like to suggest that when winter comes around and some snow sticks to the ground, take her to a big open parking lot and just practice braking in the snow and getting a feeling for it. She's bound to spin out in the snow once she starts driving, getting used to the feeling of not having as much control/counter-steering in a controlled environment will help when it does happen.
