I drive it every day and don't think I've seen any accidents near the Pepsi sign since the cameras went in there, although there have been a few elsewhere.

So I think it has definitely reduced the number of accidents, and in the AM rush traffic often slows to a crawl after Coldspring until just after the cameras. I suppose that's a reasonable tradeoff for not having the road shut down for accident clean-ups.

There are lots of lockout/key options for outdoor spigots. When I lived in Canton I used one that replaces the round handle with a hex-shaped key slot. Or something like this will both secure and help weather-proof the spigot. But still a good practice to turn it off from inside during a hard freeze.

Agreed. Great option if not trying make an event out of it…quick, reasonably priced and friendly service. Bonus points for having a very serviceable separate bar area.
