Not sure why your son needs the therapies but I can tell you from experience with mine: the more speech/OT you get, the earliest you can get it, the better. It really helps. My son started speech therapy when he was around 2 and was still completely mute when he was 3. We did super intensive speech therapy for years (sometimes 5 times a week). He's 5 now and while he isn't conversational, he can speak enough to let his needs be known and even tell you about his day or answer questions you ask him. He's down to once a week at this point, but the years of intensive therapy really paid off.

I had hardiplank (and gutters, sheathing, and new trim) installed by Retex. They weren't the cheapest but they also weren't the most expensive and they did an okay job. Solidly middle of the road.

Hardiplank is a great siding, though. I never want to have to go through that mess again, but finally having siding that doesn't rot away every couple of months is such a relief.

My son has an IEP here in Chesterfield and it has been fine. There were some missed services during the pandemic and when his school provided speech therapist suddenly retired with no notice, but otherwise we haven't had any issues. He has been progressing very well too.

That said, he seems to get bullied a lot at school and it often gets brushed off when we report it, but I am not sure how much bullying is "normal" and how much is because he is being targeted. The worst of it happened very early in the school year and the school jumped right on it and solved it. Otherwise, it has been on the bus home (he only rides it home). The first time it happened on the bus we had to keep pushing but they eventually resolved it and the second time was yesterday so we will see how that goes. They did brush it off initially, but that was expected.

We didn't get vegan food. I understand that you would expect to pay more for that. I certainly won't be going back to Fatburger, though. I could feed the whole family for $30 (after tip) just down the road at Sergio's and it would have been a lot higher quality. I just can't pay $50 for what we got there. If it was all really good, then maybe. Other than the burgers, though, it all tasted like buffet quality food.

I will say that we didn't try their shakes, though, so I can't speak to those.

Went there several months back. It was $50 for 2 burgers, 1 order of fries, 6 wings, 2 drinks and a kid's meal (I don't recall what was in that). The burgers were pretty good, everything else was just tolerable. Definitely overpriced. If it had been $30 total I think it would have been fair, but it was not worth anything near $50.

We have a few thousand crocuses in our lawn and they started blooming a few weeks ago.. I'm slightly annoyed because it probably means we won't have a good spring showing. Daffodils are coming up everywhere too. It's too early.
