Drove to Wilson, NC this morning to visit the sweetest lady ever. She was our housekeeper growing up. She always tells me that when I was a little girl, I would pack a bag every Friday because I wanted to go home with her. She is 97 now and lives in a nursing home. Before she had to move into the nursing home, I would drive down and spend the weekend with her. Dreams do come true!

It sounds to me like the management company is the one doing the nickle and dimeing. They are the ones that are keeping these ridiculous fees. Former landlord here. When I interviewed management companies I purposely chose one that was not charging lots of fees to tenant. As a former landlord, I would much prefer to have a good tenant stay then deal with the unknown of a new tenant and the turnover costs.

In the mountains for the weekend, went for a hike, made a fire, listening to music, We get up and dance to a few songs, then relax, and on and on and on. Started at 3pm, may not make it to midnight, but Significant Other and I are having fun.

Reply to Bra Fitting by WellsCM

A woman came up to me at Kroger in Willow Lawn, many years ago, and handed me he card. She was a bra fitter at Dillards, apparently she could tell just looking at me in my clothes! Also, a woman came up to me in line at Costco once and told me if I came to her house that she would wax my eyebrows for $5. I guess that I am approachable with Caterpillar eyebrows and saggy boobs!

Today my family will gather for the unveiling of my mother's tombstone, a Jewish tradition that takes place a minimum of one year after a death. My mother died during Covid, so her funeral was very small. She was the most generous woman that I know, with her time, energy and love. She taught everyone around her to do the right thing. I am very proud to be the "child" of my mother and father. After the cemetery we will all go back to her house and eat the recipes that she used to cook for us and work on cleaning out her house. So many memories!

I am the event sales manager at the Acca Shrine Center just off Hermitage Rd in Northside. If you would consider Friday or Sunday for your wedding, We can work with you. We can easily hold your guests in our ballroom. You can use the caterer of your choice, and bring your own alcohol, which is a huge way to save. I am glad to show you around and help you with a caterer that will fit your budget.
