X = the price of gas
The price of solar is 10(X) less than the price of gas.
Solar = gas - 10(gas)
Solar = -9(gas)
The price of solar will be negative nine times the price of gas. That is the only logical conclusion that can be drawn from the headline.

No it doesn't. "Ten times cheaper" is fake marketing math.
Ten times means multiplied by ten. There is no way you can multiply a number by ten and come up with 10℅. Ten times cheaper would mean cheaper by an amount equal to ten times. In other words, solar = -9(gas).

Reply to comment by WildlifePolicyChick in ELI5 why fraudsters like Anna Sorokin managed to deposit bad checks and immediately withdraw cash elsewhere without banks stopping it? by 6horrigoth
Supposedly, there used to be a way to doctor cheques in a way that would keep them in transit perpetually. The fake cheques never cleared; but also never bounced, so the bank wouldn't try to reclaim that float.

Motorcyclists don't signal with their hands, do they?

Neither US nor UK placement makes any sense. I live in Canada and built my bike with RH = rear brake, which I think is the norm here. We ride on the right side of the road, so this way I can simultaneously signal with my left hand and brake with my right.
Edit: NVM, for some reason I thought the US was RH = front brake. This makes more sense now.
