Grants? Really? Grants was a Karen factory. There are plenty of other places, pick one of the 85 other restaurants in a block radius. Outside of that, the apps are cheaper than the parking alone.

Head to West Hartford. Eat, one place, dessert another. Outside of that, it would depend upon your interests.

Not much in the downtown area itself. The social scene has mostly moved to West Hartford. Also, hope you have a car.

Be patient and have more than you need in funds. I waited until 2009 after watching the nuttiness. Dropped the 20% + after slumming for some years. It will pay off. Realestate is cyclical, regardless of what some agents might tell you as they drive off in their tesla.
The 80s were insane, then the 90s came along. Early 2000, same shit, then '08. Here we are again.
Western MA is just as bad, if not worse.

Hartford/West Hartford/Wethersfield. Oh yeah. Was there, likely still has some presence.

My Frontier fiber service is buried in my neighborhood. It was done about a year and a half ago. I have all underground services...sans street lights, of course.
