Reply to Been reading Ray Kurzweil’s book “The Singularity is Near”. What should I read as a prerequisite to comprehend it? by Golfer345
Kind of off topic but I read the "Singularity is Near" then "Guns Germs and Steel" and then "Food of the Gods." Kind of covered a lot of the bases on where we came from and where we are going. Didn't even plan it out but it worked out that way.

would be interesting if somehow tech made it possible to easily lucid dream where we can control those dreams. would be able to live whatever lifetime we want in a single night or even multiple lives in a single night.

hopefully the AI wont be woke and hate white men.

I think the Amish are very important with the singularity. We almost need two parrallel societies where one doesnt have electricity. Half way want to become Amish soon to wait out the crazy future and jump in if and when the time becomes right.
I also think its important for us to get into permaculture, and create food forests and not be dependable too much for our food supply,

Why no mention of the Kulak's?!

the amount of hatred and vitrol to hitler's national socialist state is pretty fucked up. stalin's famines were just famines and the jews in camps couldnt get food because of supply lines being bombed.

AI will create jobs and ways to springboard new things that we cant even comprehend I think. One area I would like to focus on in the near future is AI based permaculture that decentralizes our food system in local communities.

will get really crazy when the AI can produce a improvisational jam from the band Phish who has a lot of different eras in their 39 year history. "Play me a Phish concert in the 1997 style that starts with shorter songs and has a second set that is more exploratory." The AI will analyze all 1997 shows and then produce improv music that came to the band from the ether years ago.

needs to be tested on with more than 8 mice and no humans like with the booster. also big pharma needs to be liable for any vaccine injuries and not immune. no hidden safety results for 75 years either.
