I'm glad they're keeping cafe 9 as is, I go there 2-6 times a month for shows. That's too bad about State House.

I was just talking to my husband about how much I missed them when we were there last weekend. That and the mimosas and a movie on Sundays.

Reply to Be Honest With Me, How much has your electric bill been this last month? by KindaEgotistical
$531, two adults in 850 square foot condo, one room has the vents closed, forced air electric heat. We keep the house very cold, 55 all day, 65 when we're home, 58 when sleeping. It sucks that our bill is this high.

The food is good, but not amazing/memorable. I've been to weddings and proms there. It's nice, I think they do a better cocktail hour than dinner service.

Mofongo is my favorite. The pupusas are tasty, but I forget which restaurant has them.

This is so heartbreaking. Lauri is one of my favorite people, and Chris ( along with his kids) was her world. They both have the hearts of New Haven.

Mine is set to 55 when no one is home/ overnight. 63 is the norm, sometimes I'll turn it to 65 if my hands/ face feel cold. We have electric heat, it's also stupid expensive.

Friendly's. Depending on where you live, Big Dipper ( available in some stores and farm stands) and Rich Farms ( Oxford and Bristol) are local places that have great Black Raspberry.

I'm in a condo so I can't homestead, but I love the interest this is drumming up. My town did recently change zoning to make livestock ownership more accessible, I hope others work with their towns to do the same!

Hancock Brook blue blazed trail in Waterbury is gorgeous. There's a summit, plenty of flat walking, and lots of different scenery.
