Not sure why you're getting downvoted. Regardless of how the rest of the game was called, that play clearly included a block in the back. Not a fan of either team, but I'm surprised that foul wasn't called. I'm also surprised it took a block in the back to stop him. Why wouldn't one of the 5 players trailing the runner simply have pivoted earlier and blocked the player out?

You can absolutely do this yourself. For all of the people saying these will kill you, they are referring to torsion springs, which the ones in your photo are not. Vice grips, prybars, etc. can be your friend in releasing tension of the springs enough to remove the clip from that bottom bracket. The rest is simply unscrewing the mounts.
