I don’t take cabs super often, but probably every month or so (basically whenever I’m at PHL or 30th St) and I’ve honestly never had card reader BS from them.

I will say that I’ve personally experienced more dings to cars parking in suburban style lots than parallel parking in the city - door dings are a thing.
