I guess there an overall increase in demand to live in Jersey City, with people moving within the city, moving from NYC to here and moving from elsewhere in the US to here. Overall the city's appeal has gone up. That reflects immediately in good neighborhoods like this one.

Yeah didn't think of that - speed bumps. Narrowing down sounds like a good idea but then you got to give the cars an alternative. I think the 6th Street has become a highway entry point or something. Overall poorly planned.

Every time I am inconvenienced by the PATH I remind myself that I don't pay the NYC city income tax of 4-5%.

And honestly if you pay attention to some individual NYC subway lines on the weekends, even they suck. Some just don't run, some have maintenance, some have terrible frequency (the F train is super crowded and has like a 12-15 min frequency on the weekends). A train frequency is like 20 mins - and they are all super crowded due to that. Plus the MTA stations are disgusting.

But yeah, the Hoboken stop needs to go. Give them their own train for the weekend. Or at least run a weekend JSQ-WTC with 10 min frequency so we can transfer over there (in addition to the NEW-WTC of 20 min freq).

We also need a JSQ-HOB service at some point. Its annoyingly hard to get to Hoboken on weekdays. (Its easier to just walk).

Yeah I haven't had any packages stolen in the 1+ year I've lived here, especially because our outer door locks too. (usually there is an inner+outer door to walkups) But I do have to be at home to buzz them in. I definitely have to plan around it and make sure I am at home during the delivery days. If its something too expensive I just pick it up from a locker.
