just once again speaks to their intentions; they want to hear from people who drive to the path to commute to the city. the Newport, Grove and Exchange stations (along with half the NY stations)...the actual intercity transit portion of it....are simply infill to them.

buy some beer and bring it outside, to the many tables available? it just struck me that at a time where people were not vaccinated, and were still not really doing commerce without precautions, nobody had a mask on in the place. i guess they thought the large doors were large enough, and they were practically outiside.

like i said, maybe...but maybe not!

where are you located? I just counted like 19 free-to-use spots (all of which are utilized) on my short small block. hardly missing from the neighborhood.

now, safety features that aren't speed bumps...things like corner bumpouts....those are largely missing

exactly. it's not easy to promote safe driving when half the drivers are coming from giant suburban developments and are not interested in the community, just need to get to their job in Manhattan or the construction site in journal square! OUTTA THE WAY!

good on you for finding an example from the last 7 days, because yes this is systemic and nationwide.

but the poster you're replying to does not believe you, because he has had nothing but pleasant experiences with his local cops at the deli

fwiw, it's clear that we did not protest enough in America after George Floyd's murder, since that scorpion unit was not reviewed and they were allowed and seemingly empowered by their culture to do this to this man. so we must protest more...shut down more highways and tunnels, until the message is heard and actions to prevent this are taken.

people aren't kidding when we say, 'no justice, no peace. if we don't get it, shut it down." cops can be part of the solution or remain the entire problem.

are you the pedestrian tunnel guy? honestly this is a pretty good idea. much more straightforward turnaround than hoboken, and obviously a more in-demand station (though not by a ton!), and ideally would allow for a more straightforward JSQ-33rd train on the weekends...
