Reply to Post hole depth? by CancelCultAntifaLol
I built a fence with 4x4s maybe 4-5 years ago. Dug the holes to 3ft and it's been fine. No movement or anything. Still looks good.

In winter for me it's looking for Chaga and Moose Antler Sheds.

Make some friends that boil maple syrup. That is about to be full swing and really fun with a couple of buddies.

ALOT of lakes get parts cleared off so you can ice skate around them. So find a lake where you can go ice skating on.

Ive got a Mitsubishi and turned it on for like an hour just out of curiosity once we hit -20. Worked like a champ. I've got a wood stove that works great fortunately so I didn't run it too crazy.

Yes. Sorta. Sap is flowing but sugar content is a bit low. Some aren't boiling it and some are.

There is one in a barber shop in Downtown Randolph that I heard the same story about!
Edit: Downtown Randolph not Randolph Center.

I'd look in the greater Dartmouth ecosystem area. So White River junction, Norwich, etc. There is a VA Hospital, Vet Center etc. Plus the greater Dartmouth area has a lot going on so there is a variety of jobs. I am sure you could find something that fits your particular restrictions. If not working at the VA itself.
Semper Fi killer.
Edit:. The schools are good over there too cause, well, ddaarrttmmoouutthh snoody voice. A lil expensive though.

A lil abstract but I LOVE the food truck nights in down town over the summer. Got a variety of street food that's amazing. The Korean BBQ one π

Reply to Is Runamok a good maple syrup brand? by kitokspasaulis
If it's 100% maple syrup there isn't much variation between sugar houses (ones producing syrup at scale anyway). People have their brands they like but the vast majority of the difference is in what people are familiar with.
The actual differences in syrup come from how dark or light the syrup is. This is just due to changes throughout the season and all sugarhouses will make the whole spectrum of color syrup throughout the season.
Darker syrup tends to sit on top of a pancake and not really soak into it while lighter syrup will soak into the pancake like a sponge. It's all personal preference. Personally I like the darker syrup for pancakes and lighter syrup for cooking.
