Air defense saturation would really limit the attacks from Russia without requiring hitting inside Russia. They’ve done great lately and that keeps increasing. But Ukraine hitting Russia’s launch sites that are responsible for their strikes (more?) would be great. When I envision how this could look if (when) Ukraine pushes them fully out, I expect Russia to keep shooting like this unless there is a drastic change… until they realize it is futile due to Ukraine’s defenses. That’s a hope anyway.

I wasn't aware of that. But I did know that -
PMCs are technically illegal under Article 359 of the 1996 Russian Criminal Code, which states: “Recruitment, training, financing, or any other material provision of a mercenary, and also the use of him in an armed conflict or hostilities, shall be punishable by deprivation of liberty for a term of four to eight years.”

"the use of him in an armed conflict" - that implicates Prigozhin and probably Putin (just need some evidence for the link which is obviously there).

They could be a prosperous country with larger economy, more trade, higher standard of living, higher life expectancy, more freedoms, stronger presence internationally. They already have a strong background in culture, sciences, tech, etc. and huge income from natural resources. That seems like a good incentive. It would greatly benefit the vast majority of people anyway. Maybe it wouldn’t benefit… Putin?

Interesting, I just did some wiki reading - “This last report blames the latest increase of costs on the contractor not completing work as scheduled. Another complicating factor in the construction process is the bankruptcy of Westinghouse in 2017.[13] In 2018 costs were estimated to be about $25 billion.[3] By 2021 they were estimated to be over $28.5 billion.[14] Upon completion of Units 3 and 4 in 2023, Vogtle will become the largest nuclear power station in the United States.”
