You can buy a house just as well priced up in Jackson or Lancaster or Forward in Butler, be in SV and still be able to get to 79/228 faster than from freedom area.

Certainly Cranberry helps out Beaver, but there isn’t that much cross shopping.

You can tell by the hardline of development ending at the county border the whole way up to Ellwood City. Land is way cheaper on the Beaver side but the developers aren’t biting.

School districts are largely a matter of perception being reality. SV has an outsized reputation and no district in Beaver is even close.

I switched from oil to natural gas about 10 years ago.

Would go through just about 1000 gallons in a year and it cost over $4k to fill up the summer before I switched. It’s costs less than $2k to heat the exact same house with gas.

And that’s after a decade of gas prices going up.

Oh I’m not worried about myself. I’ll gladly go fast. I get worried about people driving beyond their skills or cutting in and out around much slower moving cars.

…and the big bump in fines. PSP doesn’t bat an eye for 80 in a 70- even 85 doesn’t always get a response- but I think 90+ is close to a sure thing.
