You're talking about eviction with cause. That's not what the person you are responding to was talking about.
The person above you was referencing non-renewal without cause. If the tenant is being forced out through no fault of their own, they deserve enough time to find a new place. 90 days is much more realistic than 30 days.

Here's a fun little anecdote: when we lived in greater Boston/ North shore, my mom was lean and fit. When we moved to NH and nowhere was walking distance, she put on weight and became less fit.

Ah, you also have seen that sign. Putting it in a house is so absurd, that if I had the money I would

South Nashua is pretty Nice, so is the Broad st area out towards Hollis. North end by Greeley street is my personal favorite though. Lovely homes on tree lined streets, queit and nice but still walking distance to downtown.
Truthfully with the exception of tree streets, parts of downtown, and possibly French Hill, everywhere in the city ranges from decent to nice. French Hill is a bit crappy but overall not bad, just kinda dumpy.
Edit: I also forgot to mention the Fifield street area, south east of downtown. Again, quiet and nice, homes are cute and nice, but still walking distance to downtown.

Same in Nashua. The tree streets aren't as bad here, but it's still the least nice part of the city.

Nashua and Portsmouth are great cities. Lots to do, good schools, low crime in Nashua and very low crime in Portsmouth. Both have areas that are a bit of a nature setting, though if you're looking for backwoods I'd look elsewhere. Portsmouth has the ocean, so it has a leg up over Nashua as far as that goes.
Concord is decent, if a bit dull. However, it's in very close proximity to backwoods and nature-type outdoor activities.
Manchester has some nice areas, but to be honest I think it's too expensive for what it is.
I'd also check out Exeter (next to Portsmouth) and Hollis, Amherst, or Milford (next to Nashua).

How bad of shape is the car in? I recently had mine inspected at the Meineke in Nashua and there were some borderline things (over $1k) but they passed it anyway. They just told me to spend the next year chipping away at the stuff here and there.

Which is why we need state-run inspection stations. That way it's either pass or fail, without any conflict of interest.

Manchester is crazy lately. It used to be dangerous by New Hampshire standards. But now it's dangerous by national standards.
In one of the top 5 safest states in the country.
Nashua has gotten worse, too. Shootings used to not be very common here. Maybe a few every year. But now it seems like there's a few every month.
ifukkedurbich t1_ixjoyy8 wrote
Okay is it just me or has there been a spike in shootings? They seem far more common than they used to be.

I'd buy a bunch of random plots of land, and build homes. Anyone who qualifies for it can purchase it for $1

Actually, a lot of good tenants are being kicked out. People who always pay their rent, keep the place nice, and don't bother other tenants. Because landlords can and will kick someone out without cause. They're doing this to avoid any possible legal issues that arise from raising the existing tenant rent by $500 or more
