I'll take all the downvotes you want to throw at this. This is creepy. If you can't see that this is creepy, then I can only conclude you are probably also creepy.

Are you serious? Do you also not understand why The Police's Every Breath You Take is creepy and not a "love song"? Do you want to be watched always? Do you not value your privacy?!

Indeed.

The only reason this is getting airtime is that it's along the Riverwalk. Walk further upstream on the Allegheny or Monongahela and there are multiple abandoned boats within the first four or five miles. This one gets attention only because it's more 'visible'.

The home cleaner we used to use declared (during the pandemic) that people couldn't be in the house while the cleaning was happening (and has kept up the rule even though most folks seem to agree that we're out of the thick of it.) I work from home, so... it was a deal-killer for us.

:watching eyes: I don't have any good suggestions, but I'd love to hear where you land on this. My situation doesn't sound as dire as yours, but I could use a good cleaner.

I have sat for hours and hours hitting redial over and over and over till I'm blue in the face. It never works (for me). If I had a landline I could do *66, but alas, cell phone, only phone. I appreciate the input, and I'm glad it worked for you, but it didn't work for me.
Today was my last day to file a "timely appeal" so I spent, no joke, FOUR STRAIGHT HOURS hitting redial over and over, desperate to get through starting at 8am, before I gave up, had a stiff drink, made this post, and moved on with the other things I needed to do today. I never got anything but a busy signal. IMO, the system is broken.
I emailed every relevant email address I could find (while spamming the redial button) so at least there's evidence that I tried. It sounds like hitting up reps is the way to go though. I guess that's my next step.

The Harp & Fiddle is hardly an alcohol-free or even low-booze respite. Just sayin'. I've legit seen people barf right on their table, not to mention all-out fights there on multiple occasions. It's fun. And you can have fun there without drinking, but let's not kid ourselves: It's a bar.

Who among us Pittsburghers hasn't endured the "Woo Guy" (or worse, the "Freebird Guy"... or even worse, and more local, the "Ah Leah Guy") at concerts and sporting events? The Pittsburgh Kenny Chesney concert is practically world-famous for the bad behavior that occurs.

In my experience, the pavement on I-76 is typically in better condition than the pavement on I-80. (Probably because it's a toll road.)
I-80 seems to be home to a LOT of semi trucks, which isn't to say I-76 doesn't have lots of trucks too, but in my experience I-80 has a LOT more.
You're gonna have to go over some mountains on either one, so brace for that. It's just reality that there are mountains between here and there.
I-80 is a lot straighter than I-76, so may be less "crazy" by some metric.
I-76 is gonna cost you more in tolls than I-80 will.
I generally prefer I-76, but that's because I've driven it so much that I know it like the back of my hand.
As someone else pointed out, I-76 will very likely be faster.
If you like to drive in excess of the speed limit, my sense is that you're more likely to get away with it for longer on I-76, but this is just a gut feeling, and not really data-driven. (I-80 has lots of long, straight, flat sections that look fun to speed on, but make it much easier for the cops to radar/laser you.)
Edit to Add: Oh yeah... if you're planning to get to I-80 by taking PA-22, be forewarned: During the day it is its own circle of hell. There's gotta be 3 dozen stop lights between Monroeville and Hollidaysburg on PA-22. I hate that road and avoid it at all costs. If you're dedicated to taking I-80, I'd recommend just taking I-79 North over PA-22, but that will take even longer.

It might be helpful for you to clarify what you mean by "based around drinking."
To my mind, things "based around" drinking would include beer/wine/cocktail festivals, and going out to bars, but a Steelers game? Sure, most people drink, but it's based around football. Concerts, again, most people drink, but it's based around the music performance.
Put differently: Are you trying to avoid alcohol? or drunk people? or both?
