Avoid Middletown cheaper hotels allur unless you drive Don't drink and drive. Newport being at tip of Aquidneck Island affords sunrise and sunset opportunities by the water. Pack a backpack byob on rocks somewhere all day. Hit lower Briadway at night then back to rocks and water at night.
