I mean if it’s medically necessary to be at a hospital, that’s understandable. I gave birth at the center and most people I tell, never knew it was an option. Even my PCP had no idea there was a birthing center in the city.

That’s really common and exactly why you have 6 months to make any corrections.

I just wanted to point out that because many people aren’t aware we have a Midwife Center in Pittsburgh that gives amazing care to anyone that does not want to birth in a hospital. Thousands of dollars cheaper at the center too!

The full year I worked at UPMC and paid for UPMC insurance is the most I’ve ever paid for healthcare in my life. I didn’t even see a doctor once that year.

Phipps! I grew up outside of Chicago and the Zoos and Six Flags out there are more impressive than what Pittsburgh has to offer. Phipps is so beautiful and unique, I think out of towners would love it!
