Typo. On their website, the grey room is priced at over $200/night.

NH is one of the lowest states in terms of overall tax burden, but it also is one of the highest for cost of living. I’m surprised at the claim that there are no jobs-NH has reported a labor shortage like many other states. Like other posters have said-your job prospects are probably determined by your field. Based on my own experience, I can report that, holy crap this state needs tradespeople!

One thing to keep in mind is that overall-considering both wages and prices-you’d be moving from one of the least expensive states to one of the most expensive. https://meric.mo.gov/data/cost-living-data-series

Fairly light, yes. I wouldn’t call it Starbucks-level blond, but it’s light enough that the beans aren’t oily. It’s similar to Ethiopian in roast level.

These are great suggestions. OP, cross country skiing is a great option. Full disclosure: I am not a skier. My husband loves it, though. He got second hand gear-very affordable-and has found a ton of trails to use.

Ugh. Stay warm. Our power is still out as well. No generator but we have a gas fireplace so we have a little heat on the ground floor.

I agree. The main benefit is getting to actually talk to candidates. I grew up in the Midwest (not Iowa) and never saw a single presidential candidate until I moved here.
