Yes, i was considering Wera. I might have to accept that most handles are plastic, but plastic ages and becomes brittle while metals can last for centuries if taken care of. Another option would be wooden handle which could easily be replaced.

Yes, that one is nice for consumer electronics, but im afraid i might break it. The bit holder has to be steel. Thanks anyway.

If its broken in two pieces then you might be able to make threads on both ends and then tighten with a nut.

It looks like you can use a 3,5 mm jack when battery dies. I would have gone for something else tho.

Higher quality products tend to last longer because they are often easier to service, maintain or repair. Lower quality products are generally manufactuted in ways that makes repairing or servicing very hard and alot of times destructive.
