My favorite is Uncut Gems for which he should have been nominated for an Oscar. It was one of the most intense movies I've ever seen. And I'm going to admit it- I liked the movie where he played his own twin.

One thing I learned way too late with my kids- if you take kids to a museum and you really want to see the exhibits but you're sure they'll be bored, get them a headset. For some reason wearing a headset in a museum seems to entertain them enough that they can stay longer than normal.

The Continental also adds a tip for take-out, but I think with take-out, a lot of times a server (who does not make minimum wage) is packing and ringing up the take-out, so they are spending time on your order when they would normally make a tip. At Shindigz, it's literally someone putting cake in a box. I hope they are not paid server's wages, because they are not servers. I guessed (wrongly?) that they are paid above minimum wage.

I cannot find decent hot and sour soup in Richmond. I’ve tried three restaurants- one was just salt broth, one had pork that disintegrated like sliced cardboard, and I can’t even remember the third.

I was in Walgreens the other day and a lady came back in because they gave her the wrong prescription! Thank goodness she noticed. I recently transferred my prescription to this Walgreens and it was for 30 pills, they gave me like 90. The pharmacist also was holding a phone to each ear, talking to the lady who got the wrong prescription, and the line was so long. There were about 4 employees but they were stretched so thin. I felt so badly for them.

I honestly don't know- are you saying that it's wrong to blame the oil companies making record profits for the price of gas? It seems to me that if they scaled down the amount of their profits the price of gas could go down.

I left decided to leave teaching when I got a call at 9:30 pm telling me a threat had been made against the school for the next day, but not to worry because there would be an increased police presence. This in a year where there had been a shooting with injuries at one of my district’s schools, where one of my school’s students shot and killed a student at another school during a game, and where it was discovered one of our students had a gun in school when he posted it on tick tock. I could live with a million pings on my soul including beginning to believe my name was “fat bitch” my entire first year of teaching, being humiliated by an assistant principal, and being told the lowest grade I could give was a 50, but I finally had to admit defeat when I began wearing a Fanny pack with my belongings to school so that if we were evacuated due to a shooting I would at least have my car keys. I feel really badly for parents and kids today because teachers are so fundamental to society, but everything is just so messed up it’s hard to be a teacher.
