Man, I miss the old Eat-n-Park midnight buffet back in the early 90s. We'd show up at 1:00AM and eat like kings. Then hate ourselves the next day. But man, it was so good at the moment

I went to a club in Slovakia. I didn't understand the music but man, they were having fun. Wasn't my scene( I got dragged there with a group). It's definitely a different vibe.

I lucked out. When I was in my 20s, I could choose from Chauncys, Donzis, Metropol, Rosebud, and countless others. Matrix was after I stopped going to clubs and settled down to the local bar scene. Now I just enjoy hitting a brewery here and there. My daughter is 21 now and she was just complaining about wanting to go dancing and there was nowhere decent.

Reply to Does anyone drive through the West End on the morning commute? Can’t figure out the traffic patterns by BeefyHoagie
It's not just the circle so I say it's not the light. For example today the traffic was backed up on corliss all the way the busway on chartiers. It took forever to get to carson street. Yesterday, exact same time there was zero traffic.

I think they mean the kinda bar that is a beer and shot bar. The tap list consists of Iron, Iron Light, Miller, Coors, and if they want to be fancy, Yuengling. The most exotic cocktail is going to be a Jack and Coke or Captain and Coke. The music is just DVE on the radio and the only time it gets turned down is during the evening lottery. It will have a pool table and poker machines.

The Breakaway had amazing seasoned Whole Wings before they closed. I am following this post closely as this is my style of wing, and it's not always easy to find a place that has them.

If you are in the mood for pizza, you never go to Betos. You go to Betos when you're craving the need for Betos

I'm not a huge fan of Rye but I'll drink it here and there if someone offers it. I've only had Liberty Pole's Straight Bourbon
