Their cpre business model is similar to Credit Karma, you sign up and get a free daily look at your Transunion credit report and in return they pitch credit cards, loans, and insurance products and collect referral fees whenever someone clicks through and successfully applies.

The credit score they provide (Vantage 3.0 using Transunion data) is virtually useless but the daily free looks at your credit report can be useful.

Can vouch for the Maine Warden's parka, although if there's a strong possibility you're going to be physically active for prolonged periods where you will end up sweating a lot you're going to want to consider parkas using synthetic insulation as mentioned above or maybe a hooded wool coat like those from Johnson Woolen Mills.

I haven't been to Mills Tavern in a few years but I always had good luck there. As for Al Forno I've no particular issue if the group decides they want to go there but
I never suggest it and definitely think it's overrated.

Hemenway's is another place I like if I'm up for seafood and a martini.

I figured that was who you meant, glad to see that someone else still remembers them.

Married couple owned the place and they both worked there, LJ were the initials of the wife's 1st name.

LJ's used to be pretty good when they were at their original shithole location in Providence but went on a slow steady decline after they moved to the little strip mall off of East Ave in Pawtucket right near the Providence line. Prices kept going up and quality down and they finally folded.
