this used to allowed all the time but towns have caught on to how to leverage the revenue stream. it doesnt pay much but properly separating the scrap helps then recoup some operating costs. not all of it can be resold but they have to have an all or nothing is ok rule to keep the scrappers from raiding their piles.

brunswick used to have a free for the taking table but that went away when they closed grahm road landfill.

my bank has this option too. if viewed from a purely financial transaction perspective, this kinda makes sense. what happens if you have to dispute a charge or stop payment? is their anyway a provider can force a payment?

As a general rule i only tie a credit card to autopayments. i then make one manual payment to my cc company for all my bills. i will never give a service provider access to my checking account. CMP is the odd man out where i have to manually pay each month with my cc.

I remember this, so confusing at the time. They switched with WTHT which up to then was a soft rock/easy listening station. They (WTHT) changed formats and went pop. They also became known as Thunder 107 and had a real douche of a DJ.

a reference to a phone conversation made between a recording session of Captain Beefhart and their albums owner, Frank Zappa about their new song…. The Blimp.

WBLM always seemed to have a love of all things Zappa.

When you run a charity that receives donations to then by a product made by a company who’s owners also manage the charity then the charity becomes a pass through from the donors to the company. maybe not illegal, but it is deceitful and a repugnant business and charitable practice.

WAA is a craven attempt to monetize patriotism, nostalgia, and death. Its unfortunate that the more graves that are dug in Arlington, the better their business is.

Also, their product quality sucks.
