i applied to entry level SWE jobs at quant finance and med-big tech companies. some of my friends have applied to 500+ positions with no luck. economy is rough and most companies dont want to hire new grads

im an east asian CS major from a T20 school. tons of hiring freezes this year made it hard to recruit, companies still left job openings to passively collect candidates but ghosted most
