Is the queue not insanely long by 3-4 am with no drivers and everyone leaving at once?

I realize this is only somewhat related but sharing a tradition my family had growing up - that we’d make a nice homemade loaf of bread and give it away one of two ways:
Flip a coin X number of times and go left/right at an intersection that number of times and give it to a random house with a brief explanation of the tradition and a brief note introducing our family (usually people were surprised but accepted it)
Or we’d think of who (in the area) made the biggest positive impact on our life that year and brought it to them with a note.

Yea lots of shit drivers in any city (which seems opposite of what you’d expect). Assume cars never see you and don’t rely on them watching for a red light or stop sign. Still look both ways, make eye contact with the driver, etc.

Dunno why you’d get downvoted as long as you’re respectful in the cemetery. I like them too. The hours make it hard to get in though and it’s always locked up

I grew up in Vienna with access to a car. Love it here so it’s why I moved back but my access to the places I used to go is limited. Finding my new way in the city proper

The NW DMV is probably the most crowded. Go early in the morning to the SW one and you’ll be in and out super fast.
Georgetown is probably more of a change than simply moving into DC. They don’t really have a metro station there. You walk to Foggy Bottom, DuPont, or Rosslyn depending on vicinity

Love the layering of colors and depth. Funny enough it doesn’t particularly seem like the wharf when I look at it. I think it seems too romantic like it could be in Paris or something

SW Waterfront Park (just keep walking down the wharf after it ends), SW duck pond, botanical gardens and the outdoor garden which is open later
