I miss late 90s/early 2000 cinema. The era of « just basic fun » movies. You can’t joke at anything today, and you need a quota of every minority out there. It’s like a checklist.
There is a reason why there are so many remakes and unoriginal stuff. Studios want safe.

Sailor Moon already has a live action adaptation, called Pretty Guardian. Done in Japan. Where it belongs.
As a fan of Sailor Moon, I beg Hollywood to stay the fuck out of it. Please.

The original American one, while different, was also heavily inspired by the main theme.

So my husband is a major eurodance fan (from Canada).
I just told him about that. Took about 30 seconds and he played it for me. He has it.
I have been a sailor moon fan my whole life.

I am in Quebec and watched about 5 episodes in French because it was an extremely bad dub. They didn’t censor things like the American one, but the quality was baaaaaad!
So sadly no, I have not watched the last fight in French.

If you don’t mind a little trauma: the land before time. It’s a classic.
Hook
Honey I shrunk the kids
Homeward bound
charlotte’s web
And if you can find it, the 9 lives of Garfield. It’s a little known gem from the 80s. It’s hilarious.

I love cat and I am owned by two of them, but as a healthcare worker, I have seen patients loose a hand because of infection caused by a cat attack.

This is the movie that got everyone saying « kill it with fire! »
Such a classic. I miss these kind of movies. Stuff that is entertaining enough without too much at stake.
