Couldn't get past the airport lot, giving up to my suspended-licensed road manager.

>Ringwood has their first traffic signal.
You can live with it. Oakland had only a flashing signal at their 202 south end, then one at 202/Franklin Avenue.

>Cape May, is there anything to do there in the winter?
The Shore has a special beauty in the winter. You can do anything you do in the summer, depending on your cold-tolerance. Cape May's Victorian Xmas begins today, and could be your jumping-off point to explore the Pinelands.

Define day trip. Plot that distance/drive time. Each day visit something at the turn-around. Jersey is amazingly diverse, from Sussex County's High Point to Bergen's Alpine, to The Shore, Cape May and the Pinelands.

Endorsing u/jeabers' comment, rent across the street from work and use your commuting time and expenses to play in Nyack and Hoboken - if not the City as I did.

All of North Jersey. For less houses, any State park. Be prepared for traffic.

My parents forbade comics, so I enjoyed the New York Times' '"Week in Review's" political cartoons.
