Fond memories of Summer ’78 whilst stationed at Eatontown’s Fort Monmouth, playing a “bennie” by night, when almost anywhere could be a Bruce drop-in. That New Year’s Eve sometime after midnight, he sat in with Sea Bright’s “Rum Runner’s” party band. Late ’90s I worked for a few months across the street from Big Man West and was amazed at who would be seen on stage through the smoke-filled room.

A skulk of foxes appeared at Island Beach Park's north end, non-normative being nocturnal and solitary. Despite signs begging not to do so, vehicles threw them food and even candy.

My father sold upon my high school graduation, so I had to find a job and housing that summer as well as collegiate summers when I wasn't militarily training. By your age I had been in the '73 Yom Kippur War and behind the Iron Curtain during the Cold War. Rented one-bedrooms until my next employer threw money at me to buy, that I wouldn't get otherwise. Still there, having rented it when employed out-of-state for five years.

Your airline should have their minimum bag-check time posted. Most domestics are 45 minutes before departure, which gives you the 20 security wait minutes for which I plan, plus five minutes before gate closure. If that makes you nervous, add 10 minutes to arrive at boarding start. Also depends on how fast you'll walk from bag check to security to gate.

My physicist uncle discovered a sub-atomic particle and I was a GI Bill-educated technologist. Set your sights as high as your ability. Do you have the grades and active duty experience to qualify to a better-regarded department?

Always did. In New Jersey, (Judge) Perlman relied on (Newark's) mob boss and bootlegger extraordinaire Abner “Longie” Zwillman. In turn, Zwillman looked to his pal, ex-boxer and gym owner Nat Arno, for help in recruiting Jewish tough guys. The ever-generous Zwillman covered all costs incurred by these “Minutemen,” who saw themselves as the elite fighting force of the Revolutionary War.

That's financially-dependent. If you either have reserves or income, then walk out with only the clothes you're wearing. Otherwise, you'll have to specify your circumstances so that we may give data-based advice.

Track-head? Fond memories of my hometown's Erie Lakawana red station house with pot belly stove, sadly demolished for a post office that was also demolished. Also Irivington's tram to Olympic Park, closed after its rumble.
