There are so many good wallet makers out there. Makr is probably our favorite but Tanner Goods is up there. We have an ongoing list on our site with tons of options to look through.

A lot depends on the fit you're looking for here but there are definitely a lot of options. More on our site (all MIUSA brands) that we've been curating, but some of what I (6'0, 145lb) think are worth looking at:

You could also go the semi-tailored route with Todd Shelton. It's quality stuff with top-notch customer service. You can customize the fit for each piece through some easy to use cues. Definitely worth a look if you're struggling to find things that fit just right. Years ago I had them match an out of production pair of APC jeans that fit great and they helped me through it all.

That's a bit of a tight budget for something like this. You're better off buying used. Your money will go a lot further. The problem there is that you need to know what you're looking for. As others have said, your assumptions are a little off right now. There's a bit too much to go into really. But get a touring style/hybrid bike. Talk to some local shops, particularly those that sell used bikes. There isn't a particular brand(s) to buy because you're so limited with budget. That and if you take care of the bike, even if it's dirt cheap it should still last a very long time.

Happy to help you a bit more with what recommendations for type of bike if you'd like but I would have some more questions for you.

Someone may be able to correct me here but there is no buy it for life microplane grater. If you use it regularly you're supposed to replace it annually. They become dull over time and there isn't a way to sharpen them. The company Microplane makes their blades in the US and are probably the best one. I'm not sure how you're breaking them exactly, if the handle is snapping or something, that's a different story. But all said, I don't think this is a BIFL item.

Yea for sure on of the best. We both have Vandal bags that we've had for over 10 years. Would recommend them to everyone.

Thanks mate. But I don't see what you're seeing re: made in Japan. The only items I see made in Japan for Battenwear is their down parka and some of the pants but almost everything else that I've gone through just now is still MIUSA. Let me know—
