Using Marcus for T Bill ladders. Ally limits withdraws from savings while Marcus doesn’t. I leave a little excess in there as buffer that I’d like to still earn decent interest.
Ally is still my primary savings

I opened a Marcus account last week.
No issues transferring about 80k from Ally to Marcus.

This is an excellent way for poor people to buy things as if they’re rich.
“Buy now pay later” is awful because it convinces people they can afford things they have no business buying.
I can’t imagine financing a phone, an appliance, or clothes.

Don’t risk ruining somebody else’s credit unless you’re positive you can pay it

You can’t just stop paying it, especially if you need more school money from them down the line.
It sounds like you may have just jumped into this without much research. Do you have anybody at home that can float you the money?
It’s going to be hard for an American bank to justify loaning you money to fix this situation.

Sell it.
That’s not a desirable car so it will not hold its value if you wait too long.
If there is a difference between the loan pay off and the sale amount, you will need to find a way to come up with that money.

Nope.
You’d need a personal loan for the difference if you can’t come up with it in cash.
Maybe ask family to borrow it and pay them back?

Side note, what is the degree in? All my friends with humanities undergrads really seem to regret it.
Why did you want to get a foreign degree opposed to a domestic one?

So am I correct in thinking the main difference is how out of network non emergencies are handled ?
I do like that the EPO covers free minute clinic visits

Yes.
Much more expensive to live on the coasts / major cities.
We used to live in Chicago and moved to Cleveland. Our money goes WAY further here.

Probably not. I think it’s usually 2-3x yearly income.
You may need more down, moving to a cheaper COL area, or raising your income.
Is 5k post tax ?

No issues.
I treat Marcus as it’s own thing and don’t really transfer between it and my checking.
I have my own emergency fund at Ally if I need to transfer.
