I went to Sandy Balls once. There is also a place in the far north of Scotland called Twatt. Which is kinda ironic because I am from the south coast of England. And what’s the similarity between my hometown and my sex life throughout most of my life until my mid 20s (apart from a few glorious years around 20/21)? Despite my best efforts, I was always a long way from Twatt. Badom ting.

And Chelsea in West London. Shirley, Weston and Stoneham are also suburbs of my hometown (Southampton)

Yep. As an Englishman living in Boston, I hate the fawning over the royals here in the US (and amongst a lot back home too). There will be no equality in the UK until the institution of monarchy is abolished. They’re not cute. Far from it. Any family that tolerates Andrew doesn’t get a single bit of respect from me.

Rather them than me. Salem is a nice enough little town if you’re sat in the beer garden at Notch by the coast there with a few beers but nothing could possess me (see what I did there?) to go any time around Halloween

As others said, Friday is more of a WFH day for a lot of people but today did seem quieter than usual for a Friday at least on my line on the commuter rail

This morning on the Fitchburg line, there were 4 separate signalling issues effecting 4 separate trains in both directions. Yay…
