The sad truth is that in many cases school is effectively day care, and not pure education. Changing the education aspect won't necessarily overhaul how schools work.

I think we'll see "design for manufacturing" evolve to assume AI will be part of the manufacturing process. Simply replacing humans with robots isn't where the big gains will come.

Self driving cars would save thousands of lives but they're not going to allow it. The difference here is that MDs will use it secretly.

I think having an ability to communicate verbally is more important. Not just translating a sentence into sound, but storytelling, intonation, comedic timing, etc.
