Thank you but does the body know if an Antibody has binded to its target? Or does it just hope it does

If that's the case then at least do we have highly similar self antigens? Otherwise how would autoantibody tests work, there must be common ones. Or am I missing more of the picture? Are epitopes unqiue as well? I assume so if antigens are

Wait but they used to use animal cells? https://www.hopkinslupus.org/lupus-tests/lupus-blood-tests/ 'usually sections of rodent liver/kidney or human tissue culture cell lines' What I mean to say is, do human cells and rat cells share the same antigens. Thanks for replying btw
