I've made some use of tuition remission as BSPH staff in the epi department. For summer institute classes, it's very straightforward. If you want to take regular term classes, there is a "special student limited" status you can apply for to take up to 16 credits as a non degree seeking student. I did have to email the professor and get permission to enroll in their class.

We bought a new sofa last year from Sofas etc. and they had someone from the delivery company come out and measure the doorways themselves and guarantee it would fit before we ordered. IIRC we had to pay a small fee but it could be applied to any of their furniture-- definitely worth the peace of mind.

How old is your house, and do you still have any knob and tube wiring? Be aware that it is a fire hazard to have insulation touching knob and tube. We still had knob and tube up there, so that had to be replaced before we could have insulation blown in. It did make a noticeable difference in winter.

Agree, I was excited to have them in the neighborhood and joined their bread share to support them getting started, but the bread just wasn't very good :/ Everything was so flat it was mostly crust, and gummy in the middle.
