Hey, my husbands company is looking for a showing agent (show apartments in the good parts of town to prospective tenants). You do the scheduling but it’s mostly weekends and after work hours to accommodate workers. Message me if you’re interested!

Yeah I missed the “and” — completely gross. Part of me thinks this stuff is just the “own the libs” sort of sentiment — they just let it fly to get a reaction/hopefully get the ole “libtards and snowflakes” to freak out. My friend has a brother (so unfortunate for her) that constantly just texts her the most amazing bullcr*p in an effort to get a response from her. The dude votes against his own family’s interests in order to “own the libs.” The stupidity and small-mindedness have no bounds…

What the heck does the whole Joe is a ho thing mean even…. I’ve seen that several times and it’s just so insanely juvenile. Like Hooray — you’re rhyming! Gold star for you!

I’m glad you got help — on a random note — there is an actual tow person convention happening at the city convention center right now. Ha. I passed by last night and noticed the shiny new tow trucks parked outside and thought that was sort of funny. A convention. For the tow people. Amazing.

Ours have steadily gone up too — we have a small apartment building with four apartments, at any given time we have 5 people living in our building. I pay the water bill. In 2011 it was $120 every 3 months. Now it’s $250 every month. We don’t have leaks. It’s just steadily increased over time. There was that 33% increase about 5 years ago that was implemented by 11% per year — that’s when they switched to monthly payments so people wouldn’t get sticker shocks w their bills. And I believe it again went up another 30% recently. I wouldn’t have such a problem with paying a lot for water if the city’s public works were run better — but they are a disaster. The constant water billing fiascos are a nightmare — there is zero competency in this area of city governance— it’s actually frightening.

Yes!! This happens all the time. Back in the good ole days of $120 every quarter we had our meter freeze and break — leaking a ton of water. Our bill was $1200 instead of $120 and it took calling our council person and speaking w the head of DPW to help us clear it up, after months of calling and harassing though.
