That's because you won't have an army of high priced lawyers working on your behalf. You can get away with eminent domain with a regular joe's home, but when you start messing with billion dollar corporations, you're going to lose.

If the city took your house, that you just rebuilt 10 years ago, and was a perfectly fine house, would you sue and make the city build you a new one?

Reply to 7'' snow in Manhattan next week! by [deleted]
No reliable model has shown any snow for the city next week, only rain storms. I haven’t looked at the latest ones, but that would be a drastic shift from what they showed last night.

snow if you live in Buffalo. For NYC, it's going to be drenching rains Thursday night into Friday, followed by heavy wind and an arctic plunge for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

As a letter carrier, our space to store your hold mail is limited. It’s a huge inconvenience for us if you put your mail on hold and keep getting packages because it piles up around our work area making it difficult to set up our routes in the morning. If you know you’re going out of town, stop buying stuff online, especially if it comes from someone other than USPS, because FedEx, Amazon and UPS are just gonna leave it on your doorstep

You can save about 10 million by not paying the councilmen and women.
