One of the vets at Ocean State aggressively and persistently tried to convince me my 19 y/o dog had diabetes, despite running no tests. Turns out he had a UTI. The guy was ready to fight me on it

I don’t think price is RIPTA’s limiting factor. scheduling, availability, routes, timeliness, park and ride accessibility are more like it.
i rode the bus for years as a commuting URI student from the providence area. i lived on well established and well used routes and i still ran into a litany of problems weekly. it was and is an unreliable form of transportation. which sucks.

Join twenty one stories’ book club. Get out for Dash’s group bike rides. Go to the various trivia nights around the city. Volunteer at the farmer’s market, or with a animal rescue group. Join a community garden. Join a group like CARI (climate action RI) or another advocacy group. Join an improv group. Lots of options out there! If I was single and looking to mingle, this would be my playbook.
