Yes he died in 1996 so he and my son had 6 great years together. They were buddies. They’d have milk and cookies on the porch together. Watch cartoons together. Play cars. Take walks. Best thing ever.

Nice looking man on a nice looking bike but the license plate position is in such a bad place it could split somebody’s face open if they go forward.

Logo was removed by my husband the day he picked it up from dealer Light wells are black and hood scoops are there but the sun glare is making both t difficult / impossible to see. The trim line was removed as well. It’s an ‘86 IROC Z was monotone & the z28 was two-tone from factory.

The wheels are the 16 inch as you can tell by the design. The 15 inch wheels on the Z-28 were a different design.
My husband removed decals the day he brought it home from dealer and due to the glare of the sun on the hood you can’t see the grills / louvers in this photo
I’m also not aware of any way that one could get an ‘86 Z28 in monotone. Z-28’s were two-tone from factory.
Part of the "exclusivity" of the IROC-Z was the monotone body-color ground effects.

Tiny logo behind front tire. Banner logo and trim stripe were removed as my husband didn’t like them.
