It’s also the fact that I have extreme OCD and most people can’t deal living with me

Sorry I probably should have been more clear. Im an apprentice electrician from Harpers Ferry West Virginia. I live about an hour outside of the city and because of this my area tends to be where most people move to when they want to leave the city for rural life in a “small” town. Because of this I tend to visit Baltimore 2 times or more a month because I find it to be a very beautiful place and have always wanted to live in the city. However it is a big change because the house I currently live in is 3 bedrooms and I pay 1000 a month and also have a driveway as well as street parking. Im familiar enough with Baltimore to drive around without GPS in most cases and I tend to ask a lot of questions especially with this being what I consider a big move

I’m almost certain I can find a residential/commercial electrician job in the city, and I want to be able to live close enough to bike or walk to a bar and some stores

I own 2 cars actually and was going to look at a parking garage situation unless I found a row house with a spot or 2 in the back

Safety and nightlife/walkability is important to me. I have not secured my job as I’m coming out of electrician school in West Virginia and plan to probably join the Maryland union. I can commute to work but want to be able to walk to grab food and such

Abbey Burger Bistro. They have some really crazy choices for burger slider meat, build your own burger, a pretty decent bar, although I prefer the fed hill location for the bar over their fells point location. Staff is always really friendly

A evening at the harbor at the Cheesecake Factory, followed by a trip to that cheesy beach/harbor side bar in fells point, followed by shopping at security square, and ending the evening off with a hike through leakin park

My whole purpose in this move is to be less car dependent and be close to things
