Yes, I think they are R3. Seems like they messed those up, at least the 1.2mm ones. I am glad this wasn’t a solder build, so changing the stabs was no big deal.

I don’t have any extra Staebies housings left to take a picture of.

Akko ACR 75 Top which has a 1.2mm PCB.

Yes I used those little plastic pieces. But they had a snug fit in the PCB anyway.
I really don’t have a clue what was going on there. I have read a few reports from people being disappointed and people being really fond of them. That is weird. Maybe there are different batches / different tolerances for the 1.2 vs the 1.6mm variant?

Because it’s a cheap and crappy keyboard.

The switches are lubed Gateron Ink Blacks V2, the cable is DIY with a cerakoted YC-8 connector.
Deskmat is from the GMK Metropolis set.

It’s the deskmat that was designed for this keycap set. Most places that sell the set will most likely also sell the mat.

No, not really. The keys are a little recessed (like less than half a mm), wich I much prefer to the keys sticking out so far that you can peek below, even if it’s just a tiny bit. And I mean in high profile cases not in low profile cases where this is supposed to be like that.

I honestly don’t think that would appeal to the typical GMK keycap audience, myself included. Maybe as an extra, but not as standard.

The board is VIA/QMK compatible, so I can map anything I want on the F-keys no problem.

I am talking about the movement of the stems inside the housing. Grab the spacebar and rotate it / wiggle it back and forth. With the TX stabs there was a lot of movement. Now with the Staebies there is almost no movement. The TXs were basically as wobbly as Durock V2s and would have needed the same amount of tuning which I did not expect.
The stabs were assembled and installed correctly, the wire is straight.
