Some people still want to have horses and travel roads with them.

I run a coal stove at home like it's 1800s still lol. I prefer the heat than electric heaters that I use when I'm too lazy to get more coal.

Some people still buy record players.

I'm willing to bet much of the infrastructure you use is many decades old.

Worked at places that claimed to have state of the art stuff. You pop a panel out and you'd be looking at 40 year old tech.

I've worked in a couple of industries that tried automating things and it fell on its face. I'm not saying we are not going to improve and automate stuff, but it is very difficult to get to the point of operating better than humans.

Some tasks are much better handled by robotics, but driving in all conditions that humans have to is a pretty cool challenge.
